The MUFF Society was a feminist community that aimed to celebrate the achievements of women and underrepresented groups in film and television.
We supported an inclusive definition of women and included trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people in it. (H/T)

MUFFxTO was our original series. Each bimonthly screening was accompanied by raffle prizes and a fun pre-show with a pop-up shop featuring local women artisans, a women-centric playlist inspired by the film, and a photobooth with props.
miniMUFF was our short film program that paired local, women-made films with the MUFFxTO feature and also profiled the filmmakers on the MUFF Blog.
Reel Girl Talk was our quarterly conversation series that pairs a film with an intimate and critical post-film conversation from noted community members. [Read more here.]
