What happens when you’re a vegetarian and love Melissa Ethridge? Hate to break it to you, but you’re probably a lesbian. Time for an intervention!
Join us on November 19 for a screening of But I'm A Cheerleader! Everyone’s favorite OITNB actress, Natasha Lyonne, teams up with director Jamie Babbit for her first feature film that deconstructs sexual identity, heteronormativity and gender roles. As usual, we will be showcasing a local short film as part of Mini MUFF, giving away film-themed prizes and freebies, and we'll even have a cheer-inspired photobooth.
Stay tuned for more announcements coming up as the MUFF-date gets closer! 1,2,3,4, I won’t take no anymore!
The MUFF Society was a feminist community that aimed to celebrate the achievements of women and underrepresented groups in film and television.
We supported an inclusive definition of women and included trans women, genderqueer women, and non-binary people in it. (H/T)
