This February, MUFF celebrates Women In Horror Month once again with a trip back to highschool: the classes, the crushes, the cheerleading, the.... vampires? That’s right—BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER.
Before Sarah Michelle Gellar brought Buffy to life on the small screen, Kristy Swanson was kicking butt on the big screen—directed by Fran Rubel Kuzui—in this 1992 classic. Oh, and BUFFY was Hilary Swank's first film, too!
So, make sure your chicken is funky, your goose is loose, and your stake is pointy, because you’re in for one hell of a ride! Join us in the lobby starting at 8:00 PM for photobooth fun, a vampy playlist, and a vendor pop-up of Toronto women artisans ready to show you what they’ve got! As always, we will have some amazing prizes to give away before the screening, so don’t be late!
Our Mini MUFF selection this month, OLIVIA, comes from local filmmaker and animator Laura Vegys. Laura will be in attendance to introduce this WORLD PREMIERE screening!
