MUFF x Goethe Institut: fHEISTy Women Robbing Banks
Hold on to your savings, because we’re co-presenting quite possibly the coolest named film series out there: Goethe Films’ fHEISTy Women Robbing Banks!
When program curator Jutta Brendemühl reached out to us at MUFF for a possible co-presentation, it was an easy sell. There’s nothing we love quite as much as a good heist (except, of course, when that heist is pulled off by badass ladies). fHEISTY Women Robbing Banks will kick off with the 1998 classic Run Lola Run and finish with last year’s one-shot wonder Victoria. Between those two screenings you will also find two wonderful German arthouse flicks, Banklady and Wanja.
All screenings are 18+ and will take place at TIFF Bell Lightbox (350 King Street West) in Toronto. Check out the schedule:
