MUFFTix: Promising Young Woman + panel discussion!

Hi pals, it’s been a while. Listen, some people have been thriving during These Times and me… not so much.

But what better way to make a comeback than with a ticket giveaway to a private online screening of one of the most talked about movies of the year: Promising Young Woman, directed by Emerald Fennell!

Honestly, the trailer doesn’t do it justice… for better or for worse. This is a movie I saw last year and still think about on a regular basis. But fair warning: it is A Lot. In fact, here’s an official warning: this film portrays scenes of sexual assault and violence against women that may be re-traumatizing for some viewers, especially for survivors of assault.

It’s the kind of film that will prompt discussion, that’s for sure. And that’s why I’m super excited that following this screening there will be a panel discussion. Yes! There will be so much to unpack so buckle up! The discussion is hosted by my pal Erica Shiner and includes panelists Farrah Khan and Mandi Gray.
