MUFFxSF IS BACK, BITCHES!

As the subject would suggest, MUFF San Francisco is back! Because it would be awfully misleading for us to make that the subject and then write a post about tea kettles or something, right? Right.

Last year when MUFFxSF went on hiatus, we vowed that we would only come back if it was going to be BIGGER, BETTER, MORE AWESOME, AND PROBABLY (HOPEFULLY) WITH MORE SPARKLES AND TALKING IN CAPS. Okay, we'll hold off on the caps for a bit but you can't blame us for being excited because we are super, duper beyond thrilled to announce our new theatre is the Alamo Drafthouse New Mission in SF! Yassss, that Alamo. THE Alamo. 

We're so excited to kick off at our new home that our first screening is on June 23rd. Yes, the one in a little over one week. We're not worried because we know ya'll have been waiting patiently for MUFFxSF's glorious return. 

And what's our first film going to be? Drumroll please....

Desperately Seeking Susan! Susan Seidelman’s classic is the story of lost identity in the pre-Internet world. Rosanna Arquette plays Roberta, a restless housewife, daydreaming of a couple, Susan (Madonna) and Jim, who communicate through personal ads. Fantasy becomes reality when their lives intersect in a mish-mash of directions. In true 80s form, there's murder, mystery, fashion and big hair, and not in the least, there's Madonna as the cool girl we all want to be.

But most importantly, if anyone knows any amateur magicians that can perform any known tricks involving doves, hit us up PRONTO.
