MUFF x Drunken Cinema: The Slumber Party Massacre
MUFF is bringing you a DOUBLE DOSE of celebrations for Women In Horror Month! Not only do we have our screening of American Psycho on February 17th (9PM, Carlton Cinema), but we are also co-presenting Drunken Cinema’s screening of The Slumber Party Massacre on February 27th (7PM, The Steady)!
Drunken Cinema is a monthly screening series in Toronto that pairs films with original drinking games. With a full set of unique rules (general, personal, and secret!), fun props, and free popcorn, Drunken Cinema’s events are a great way for lovers of cinema and alcohol to spend an evening!
Seeing as it is directed by Amy Holden Jones, written by author and feminist activist Rita Mae Brown, and has more than once been touted as a feminist slasher, Slumber Party Massacre seemed a perfect choice for our co-presenting celebration of women in horror!
Although this won’t be like our regular MUFF events, you can still expect photo opportunities, a themed cocktail, and cool raffle prizes!
Check out the Drunken Cinema Facebook page to stay up to date on upcoming events.
