MUFF SF x Whip It

We had a MUFF pup on premises! The MUFFxSF producers w/ Mini MUFF filmmaker, Kate Marks, and MUFF Volunteer, Fiona!

Our Whip It screening was epic. We started the night by selecting awesome derby girl names. Everyone got a chance to fill out their name tag. MUFFxSF producers Chelsea & Tia became BLUE STEAL & TIA JUANA PISTOLA.

Above is of Blue Steal & Tia Juana Pistola with our short filmmaker Kate Marks (aka WRECKLESS) and our super awesome MUFF Volunteer, Fiona (aka FIONA BANANA). We also had a special guest with us for this screening: Chelsea’s dog, Sagan, decided to drop by to greet guests and get in on a few photo ops. 

Wreckless’ film, Pearl Was Here opened the night and it was glorious. She gave a very thoughtful Q&A about being a rebel. Read more about Kate Marks and her film here.

We had a number of present, past and future derby girls on site, and EVERYONE was their own hero.
