Listen Up: Welcome!

Welcome to our shiny, new MUFF. Or maybe "warm and inviting" is better. (It never gets old, friends, it never gets old.) We've been working super hard to build this website and we're so excited to finally unveil it to the world. 

TADAH! 

When I started The MUFF Society just a mere five months ago, I never dreamt I would have started building an amazing community. (Or own the domain "muffsociety.com," ha.) The immediate response was so overwhelmingly supportive and while I like to think it's because everyone loves getting to say "MUFF" as often as they can, I know it's truly because when it comes to supporting women in the film/television industry, we need to be doing more and we need to be doing it bigger, better, louder, sparklier. 

So with that thought, The MUFF Society is here to champion women in film and television. We will do it on our blog by sharing stories and our favourite feminist films. We will do it at our monthly screenings by coming together to watch an awesome movie (and take awesome photo booth pictures). We will do it on our social media platforms by sharing news and stories from other publications. But most importantly, we will do it with acceptance, open minds, and never down our noses.
