MUFFDates x TO: Winter Screening Schedule

We can’t believe it’s almost December! It seems like just yesterday we were announcing our Fall Screening Schedule. WHERE DID THOSE THREE MONTHS GO?!

We’ve had our Winter program more or less planned for months, but here, now, it’s official—WEBSITE OFFICIAL.

Ghost World (dir. Terry Zwigoff) - In case you didn’t know, December marks The MUFF Society's ONE YEAR BIRTHDAY!! In honour of the occasion, we invited our Toronto MUFF lovers to help us decide what to screen for our big day. We thought it would be a close call, but Ghost World won by a landslide. A few quick emails with the Carlton later and we had it locked down as our December screening! - DECEMBER 16TH

Goodfellas (dir. Martin Scorsese) - Wondering how a Scorsese flick fits the MUFF agenda? Google one name: Thelma Schoonmaker. Go on, do it. ….Need we say more? Why Goodfellas specifically? Um, because Goodfellas is amazing and also because fuck this guy and this nonsense. And for those of you who have been used to our 7PM start time, take note: starting in January we will be moving into the 9PM time slot, with our lobby fun starting at 8PM! - JANUARY 13TH

American Psycho (dir. Mary Harron) As for February, our Valentine’s (or Anti-Valentine’s, if you will) screening will be Mary Harron’s horror masterpiece: American Psycho. Don't forget your business cards. - FEBRUARY 17TH
